Playson Slots Go Live with Ninja Casino in Estonia, Finland
Category : News
Online casino content developer and supplier Playson has rolled out its slots portfolio with Swedish gambling group Global Gaming after a recently penned agreement between the two companies.
As a result from Playson’s latest major content distribution deal, the provider has been able to launch its titles with Global Gaming’s flagship brand Ninja Casino, as revealed in a press release from earlier today.
Following a quick and seamless integration, Playson’s slots collection is now available to Ninja Casino players in Estonia and Finland. Customers of the popular online gaming brand have access to its hit Timeless Fruit Slots series as well as recent releases such as Solar Queen, Clover Riches, and Vikings Fortune: Hold and Win, among others.
Commenting on their partnership with Global Gaming, Playson Business Development Manager Lars Kollind said that the Swedish operator “is a major name in the industry and launching our portfolio of games with them is an important move for Playson.”
He added that their latest commercial deal allows them to “expand our operator network across Europe, while also demonstrates the growing appeal of our content.”
Playson’s portfolio currently includes more than 60 HTML5 games that are available across all channels. The casino games developer runs offices in Malta and Ukraine and is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, the Romanian gambling regulator – ONJN, and a number of other European regulatory bodies.
European Expansion for Playson
The Global Gaming deal has been the latest of a series of content distribution agreements penned by Playson in recent months, with all those significantly expanding the company’s presence across multiple European markets.
Last month, Playson announced that it had teamed up with Kindred Group to roll out a selection of its titles with the major online gambling operator, which recently expanded its footprint beyond Europe and launched its operations in two US states where online gambling is legal – New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
It was last month again when Playson unveiled a content distribution deal with online casino and sports betting brand Betzest.
In August, Playson announced that it has been fully certified to provide its content in Sweden to locally licensed operators. The Scandinavian nation reorganized its online gambling market early this year and opened it to interested international companies.
Global Gaming was among the first entries into the newly liberalized iGaming space of Sweden. However, it was the first operator to have its license revoked under the new regulatory regime. In June, the Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, announced that it has revoked the company’s license over serious shortcomings in its anti-money laundering practices.
Global Gaming appealed that decision in several Swedish courts, but each of those sided with the regulator. The company was also ordered to suspend its local operations, while its license revocation was under review.
Global Gaming announced last month that its flagship Ninja Casino brand would relaunch in Sweden. However, it would be operated by its partner Viral Interactive Ltd., a subsidiary of gaming technology provider Finnplay.
